Yo DC ravers — what's good?

Buckle up, because this is the big one. Capital Pride landed on the third weekend this year, and the whole scene answered — four days, every venue, all hands on deck. It opens huge: RÜFÜS DU SOL takes over Audi Field Thursday with Maribou State, a full stadium of melodic house under the lights. From there it never lets up. BERHTA's VENUS on Saturday is the marquee — three stages, doors at 4pm, with The Dare and Yaeji both on DJ duty plus Rico Nasty, DOSS and a stacked undercard. Echostage runs back-to-back nights (RIOT! opening party Friday, KINETIC: Toyland with Alaska Saturday), Kim Ann Foxman brings real NYC house to Flash Friday, and CRi catches golden hour at SÜNDOWN. Then Sunday refuses to quit. Plan it now; half of these move before the weekend.

Gremlin tip: RÜFÜS at Audi Field is the marquee — 7:30pm doors-ish, outdoors, full cinematic production with Maribou State warming up. When it lets out you're a short hop from a late Flash room if you want to keep it moving into Capital Pride Boots.

Gremlin tip: Saturday afternoon is a three-way day-party pileup, all doors at 4pm — CRi at SÜNDOWN (Tigres), VENUS at BERHTA, and Alan Dixon's Matinée on the Flash rooftop. You physically cannot do all three, so pick your texture: melodic-house sunset (CRi), three-stage chaos (VENUS), or disco-leaning golden hour on the roof (Matinée). Then regroup for Toyland or the Glitterati night rooms. The parade runs 3pm through downtown, so give yourself buffer getting anywhere.

Afters: VENUS starts at 4pm and goes deep, Toyland is a six-hour set, and Flash runs to 4am. There is no clean way to do all of this — pick a lane.

Gremlin tip: The Capital Pride Festival and Concert take over Pennsylvania Ave all day, so Sunday is a marathon. Sunday Love's 3pm wellness session is the reset button, Karizma at Mess Hall is the soulful-house antidote to four days of peak-time, and if you're truly feral, Flashy's 4am afters is where the weekend officially refuses to die.

GREMLIN TIPS & PLUR CORNER

It's Pride and the parade is Saturday — the city will be at capacity. Hydrate, sunscreen for the day parties (SÜNDOWN, VENUS, Sunday Love are all daylight starts), and have a plan B for getting home.

VENUS is three stages with food trucks — that's an all-day commitment, not a quick stop. Eat, pace, and post up.

Earplugs in the bag. Toyland is six hours and Echostage does not play about volume.

Flash is open Thursday through Sunday this week with day AND night programming — check which room and which door time before you head out.
