Hey gremlins,

Happy EDC weekend to everyone making the trip out to Las Vegas — I'll be out there myself, so if you spot someone looking slightly feral near the Circuit Grounds, say hi. For those of you holding it down in DC this weekend: good news, you are not missing out. This city is stacked.

The German invasion is upon us. Klangkuenstler makes his Echostage debut this Friday night under Factory 93 x GLOW, bringing his brand of dark, melodic techno to a room that's going to feel perfectly suited for it. Meanwhile — and yes, this is the same Friday — Boris Brejcha is doing his thing at A.I. Warehouse for Nü Androids. Two of Europe's most respected names in electronic music, same city, same night. Make your choices accordingly.

But it doesn't stop there. BAUGRUPPE90 and Malugi are playing the BANANAS outdoor stage at BERHTA from 6pm, which means your evening can start outside in the air and still end up deep in the dark somewhere else. Saturday brings Dan Ghenacia's Apollonia-trained house sound to Flash's Club Level, Notion taking UK garage to the Warehouse for Nü Androids, and a proper Sündown daytime with Riva Starr at Tigres de la Noche in the afternoon.

One hell of a weekend on both coasts. Let's go.

LAST WEEKEND RECAP

BUNT. made his Echostage debut last Friday night in the round and it delivered. Read the full breakdown here:

GREMLIN TIPS + PLUR CORNER

Gremlin tip: Friday is a genuine two-venue dilemma — Klangkuenstler at Echostage and Boris Brejcha at A.I. Warehouse are both world-class bookings on the same night. They're not far from each other. If you can only do one, Echostage is the bigger room; the Warehouse is the more intimate experience.

Gremlin tip: BAUGRUPPE90 + Malugi at BERHTA's outdoor stage starts at 6pm on Friday — this is a free-flowing evening. Get there for doors, enjoy the open air, then follow the night wherever it goes. Worth noting: BAUGRUPPE90 is also confirmed on the EDC Las Vegas bionicJUNGLE stage lineup this same weekend. They're doing both. Respect the schedule.

Gremlin tip: Tigres de la Noche is a no-phones venue at Alley Entrance, 405 Morse Street NE, 2nd Floor. Show up knowing that going in — Yondr pouches, phones locked, all the way present. The tradeoff is worth it.

PLUR Corner: Nü Androids continues to build something special this weekend. A daytime Sündown at a no-phones venue, a UK garage headliner at the Warehouse, and an Afro house late-night — three rooms, three moods, all under the same banner. This is what a community booking culture looks like. Support local promoters.

That's the weekend, gremlins. Lots of choices this Friday — tell me which one you're making and how it went. Reply to this email or find me on Instagram at @plurtatochip.

PLUR,
Jimmy
